In 2003 Tyler joined his first siding crew installing James Hardie fibre cement siding on a shopping center in Northern BC.  Not long after he made the move to Edmonton where he found himself back in the siding industry and eventually working as a contractor serving the booming new home construction market.  While the practical side of the installation process had it’s appeal, the luster of siding high volumne new homes was wearing off; Tyler felt it lacked a personal dynamic.   This lead to a shift in focus and thus more than a decade ago he transitioned from serving builders to serving homeowners.

In 2020 Advance Clad was formed to that end: To take Tyler’s personal commitment to homeowner-centered project management and to translate that into a philosphy that characterises an entire exterior home renovation organization.  We focus on quality mid to high-end exterior renovations.  We are not the cheapest in Edmonton; so for customers that are purely budget minded and just want a product slapped on we may not be the right installers for you.  That being said, we believe we deliver the best value proposition in our market.  Our philosphy of serving homeowners, (rather than faceless high-volumne builders) is the backbone of Advance Clad.  Craftsmanship and attention to detail is a personal matter when you know the family that lives on the other side of the wall.  When you envision what they will see as they pull in the driveway day after day or when they sit down for those family meals on the deck on those warm summer evenings.
